De Mata and De Arca Museum

DE MATA TRICK EYE & DE ARCA MUSEUM OF YOGYAKARTA

Two years ago, precisely when July Month in which all Muslims were fasting, i was doing the regional tourism, from Tangerang to Yogyakarta. I went to the city of Yogyakarta with my family. We went to Yogyakarta at midnight by private car so we did sahur on the road. Previously we had intended to Yogyakarta in order to Eid Al-Fitr with relatives at once visited them all and of course also to enjoy the holiday existing attractions in Yogyakarta.

My family spent two weeks in Yogyakarta during that we spent visiting all our relatives ranging from the old to young, and we also took time to visit one existing attraction. De Mata Trick Eye and De Arca Museum, that's attractions or rather the one of the museum we had visited.

De Mata Trick Eye and De Arca Museum Yogyakarta, some of the attractions that are very suitable for families or can also visit with friends. Because of these attractions can be enjoyed by all ages, good for small children, adults, or even parents. These attractions also happened to be not too far from my relatives' house. The Museum was located in the city of Yogyakarta Jalan Veteran No.150-151, Pandeyan, Umbulharjo or more precisely in the XT Square, XT Square Gedung Umar Kayam Lt. Basement and usually open every Monday-Sunday, starting at 10:00 am and closed at 22:00 PM.

For entry the Museum, there are two kinds of ticket options, the first to entry De Mata Trick Eye Museum was quite cheap just Rp 40.000, but at that time I chose a combo ticket or continuation ticket, which cost Rp 80.000 so that it could instantly enjoy De Mata and De Arca all at once. First time my family was entering the area De Mata Trick Eye Museum, accordance with it's name these attractions offer a lot of places to take pictures that was very interesting. Interestingly when we take a picture, the results of the photo will feel real or feel we really experience it, even though in fact just a hoax. These were some of my family images while in De Mata Trick Eye, looks really real 😄

When I visited, the day wasn’t too crowded but getting noon the other visitors began to arrive, so it was very crowded and a little claustrophobic. Even some of many conditioner in the room, didn’t feel cold so feel a little hot at that time. Sometimes also an occasional had to queue up first with other visitors to take pictures because it was so crowded. At that time I was hear attractions with models like this for the first time in Indonesia, especially when it also was on holiday, so it made a lot of visitors interested to coming for fill their vacation.

Satisfied visiting De Mata my family and I switched to the De Arca. If De Mata Trick Eye filled to take a picture with unique and interesting, De Arca was filled with the wax statues which looks very real when photographed. The wax statues of various political figures, the leaders and heroes countries, famous artists, even superhero figures from some movies. And here some of the results of our photos.

One of my favorite photos with famous actors in South Korea, Jeong Ji Hoon or commonly called Rain. So I didn’t need to go to Korea because I'd met him.

And finally the afternoon, my family was finished already photographed with all the objects that have been provided, after that we immediately rushed to go home. My family was very happy to see all the photos we had. Although it did have a bit of a struggle and restrained tired of having to keep walking, we were very satisfied. This museum was indeed very interesting, unique, and if thought indeed not easy too to create an attraction like that, so we were happy quite to be able to enjoy it and save it as one of the memories of our sightseeing trips. That's one of my travel trips when returning home to the city of Yogyakarta, that would not be forgotten. Thank you.
